1. Yosemite National Park – Yosemite National Park in California has a total of thirteen campgrounds from which to choose, all within the boundaries of the national park. Of those thirteen campgrounds, usually seven of those campsites can be reserved, and the rest are first-come, first-serve. Yosemite National Park offers many other activities than just camping, including hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, fishing, birdwatching, and biking.
2. Grand Canyon National Park – You can choose between “developed” campgrounds or camping within the canyon outside of established campsites. It all depends on your preferences. The Grand Canyon is one of those places that everyone should see in life, especially those who live in the United States, as it is as close as it’s going to get. Just outside of the Grand Canyon, you can experience the Hualapai Reservation and skywalk, the Kaibab National Forest, and even the Havasupai Waterfalls.
3. Fontainebleau State Park – Found in Mandeville, Louisiana, the Fontainebleau State Park is the perfect camping spot for beach lovers who would love to also have the opportunity to experience the bayou. Camping in or around the Fontainebleau State Park will offer campers beautiful scenery and incredible history. Surrounding camping destinations include the Bayou Segnette State Park, the Pearl River Wildlife Park, and the St. Bernard State Park.
4. Guadalupe River State Park – If you like canoeing, whitewater rafting, and other adventurous outdoor activities, it might be time to head over to the great state of Texas. Other outdoor activities can include hiking, tubing, swimming, mountain biking, fishing, and the study and enjoyment of the surrounding nature. One of the many beautiful aspects of the Guadalupe River State Park is that the river is lined with elegant cypress trees. It’s as unique as it is beautiful.
